Privacy Policy

Shasha Technology ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why. We deliberately collect as little as possible.

1. Accounts

This website doesn't offer its own user accounts, logins, or dashboards, and we don't collect passwords through it. Our APIs are distributed via RapidAPI, which manages your account, API keys, and billing. Individual products (such as Stelt and the exchange platform) run their own logins under their own terms.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details you provide: when you email us, or share details through our voice assistant, we receive your email address and anything you include.
  • Billing information: API subscriptions are processed by RapidAPI (other products by their own provider). We never see or store your payment-card details.
  • API usage metadata: to run the service and prevent abuse, we log request counts and timestamps. Query coordinates are used only to serve the response and are not used to identify you.
  • Basic website analytics: aggregate, non-identifying traffic data may be collected to understand usage.

3. How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure the service, enforce fair usage, process subscriptions, respond to your requests, and improve our products. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third parties

We rely on RapidAPI for API distribution and billing, upstream data providers (Open-Meteo, OpenAQ, EPA AirNow) to serve API responses, and the Stelt voice assistant (Willow) on our site — if you talk to it, your questions and any details you share are processed by Stelt to respond and, if you choose, to pass your enquiry to us. Each has its own privacy practices.

5. Data retention

We keep usage logs and correspondence only as long as needed for operations, billing, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
